This raven is saying that nevermore will Lenore return to his home; nevermore will he feel truly, completely happy in this physical life; nevermore will anguish and some level of grief cease.

This is a problem for him because the longing for Lenore pains the narrator. He believes completely that this raven speaks the truth. Therefore he will always bare the pain due to the death of his love. This makes the narrator furious knowing he will never remedy his loss.
