That is where the 'SR20 stamp' is. So far in trini i cant vouch for a single ve performing well along with proof. I remember when I was in BlueIce car several times you would hear the engine scream like a honda B16a in High rpm.

So far it is assumed that his is an autech, it could also be an engine modified by an individual in Japan. Someone suggested that he can verify his engine with autech to know if it is one of theirs just from the serial number.

I dont know if it is true but it is very possible. If blueice would post up some pics of his engine as a whole and pics of the marks maybe we could see what he is speaking about.

At the back on the exhaust side, if you look down a the back of the block where it meets the bell housing there will be a flat bit of block with the number on it, it faces a bit upwards so when you look down in the engine bay with a torch it's easy to read.

I'm filling out the registration form for my S15 Spec R and out of all the question the only one I got stuck on is the engine number :wack: I have had a look around the engine, at all the export documents, vin plate, door sill, around windscreen, Google, searched S15OC.

I have even looked around a spare engine I have on a stand and still can't find the dam thing :annoyed: Where can I find the engine number please? They say its on the bell housing flange on the block on a small ground flat section.

With numbers stamped in that are quite small. Cheers for the reply's but it got answered on SXOC before mods had a chance to approve the thread. Found it and papers are away. I couldn't see it on my spare engine as it was black with dirt.
